Our client, a prominent government investment fund is currently looking for a Senior Manager - Accounting to join their team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will be responsible for supporting the accounting team in producing consolidated and standalone financial statements, meeting the highest standard of quality and timeliness ensuring continuous improvements in the overall processes, internal controls and digitization.

Role:

- Continuous improvement of finance policies, procedures and control systems ensuring consistency and compliance
- Support various stakeholders with advice and best practices about the commercial interpretation of accounting treatments, financial audit and reporting standards
- Involvement with the consolidation team in the timely preparation of quarterly consolidated financial statements, including the various improvement initiatives currently being undertaken
- Establish effective and productive relationship with all portfolio companies accounting teams and ensure all their submissions are done on time and with the highest quality standards
- Play an active role in finance transformation initiatives across the group

Requirements:

- UAE National with a family book
- 7+ years of relevant experience working for a commercially driven entity within financial control with good technical financial accounting knowledge, IFRS etc. or consolidations experience or corporate/structured finance or lastly technical finance systems would be ideal
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or its equivalent in any relevant field
