Job Purpose
The HR Specialist will play a critical role in strengthening GWT's people function through powerful recruitment, a disciplined performance-driven culture, and strong HR operations. This role requires someone with initiative, people skills, accountability, and the ability to execute rapidly.
Lead end-to-end recruitment cycle for all departments.
Build talent pipelines for urgent and critical roles.
Improve hiring speed with structured, process-driven selection.
Maintain weekly dashboards and manpower planning reports.
2. Onboarding & Manpower Mobilization
Manage joining formalities, visa coordination, and inductions.
Ensure every new hire is operationally ready from Day 1.
Coordinate with PRO/Admin for smooth mobilization.
3. Performance Management
Support KPI implementation and review cycles.
Track department performance with the PMO/Strategy team.
Flag performance concerns early and support corrective action plans.
4. Employee Relations & Engagement
Act as the first point of contact for staff concerns and clarifications.
Ensure a positive, disciplined, and transparent work environment.
Address grievances professionally and maintain confidentiality.
Drive employee engagement initiatives.
5. HR Policy, Compliance & Documentation
Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and company policies.
Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HRIS data.
Support internal audits and policy revisions.
6. Payroll & Attendance Management
Monthly payroll preparation with high accuracy.
Verify attendance, overtime, deductions, incentives, and leave updates.
Coordinate closely with Finance to ensure timely salary processing.
Maintain transparent payroll documentation and resolve employee payroll queries promptly.
Monitor absences, late reporting, shift schedules, and manpower allocation.
7. Training & Development
Identify training needs with department heads.
Coordinate internal/external training programs.
Maintain training calendars, attendance, and skill enhancement records.
8. HR Operations & Reporting
Prepare weekly HR reports covering hiring, attrition, performance, and manpower status.
Support HR budgeting, manpower forecasting, and policy execution.
Strengthen HR processes through continuous improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor's degree in HR is a must
4-6 years HR experience (technical/EPC/engineering industry preferred).
Strong capability in recruitment, payroll, and performance management.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-handling skills.
Strong follow-up, process discipline, and execution mindset.
Experience using HRIS systems and MS Office tools.
