Job Description
Position: SR. ENGINEER - TRANSMISSION SYSTEM STUDIES
Location - Dubai
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform electrical power system steady state, short circuit, dynamic and transient stability analyses
- Develop and implement static, dynamic and transient models for electrical power system
- Perform electrical transmission grid reliability studies
- Produce and/or review quality technical reports and presentations
- Develop or modify automation scripts to enhance the efficiency, speed and accuracy of technical simulations
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- In-depth understanding of fundamentals of electric power systems and renewable energy
- Direct work experience in transmission grid studies, generation or load interconnection related analyses
- Hands on experience performing Dynamic Stability Studies
- Minimum 6 + years of hands-on experiences with PSS/E
- Working knowledge of automation scripts in Python
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
- Good oral and written communications skills in English
