Job Description
PRIMARY PURPOSE
Supervise the daily man power allocation and the operations for assigned shift in plant\xe2\x80\x99s electrical maintenance,
installation, troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment located on the various plant sites, power stations and
pipeline network system in order to ensure availability, maintainability, reliability and efficiency. [Not translated in selected language]
RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Organize and supervise the activities and work of maintenance technicians to ensure that all work within the assigned team is carried out in an efficient manner which is consistent with operating procedures and policy. Provide on-the-job training and constructive feedback to subordinates to support their overall development.
2) Undertake the required initiatives in order to effectively estimate man hour requirements, plan work schedules, assign and direct subordinates and attend work site during installation, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment associated with facilities and systems. Assist the maintenance team in establishing priorities, making improvements on work methods, evaluating modification proposals and failure analysis.
3) Prepare and carry out periodic job plans that include PMs, functional checks, and pipeline network change activities. Prepare and obtain permit to work (PTW) based on the periodic job plans, allocate work and conduct Toolbox meeting to ensure understanding of the daily work tasks and support successful completion of activities in accord with safety standards. Ensure timely completion and proper close out of the permits for restoring the equipment to normal operation.
4) Assist in preparing procedures, methods statement, and carries out risk assessment exercise to facilitate effective conducting of maintenance activities as per define guidelines and program.
5) Supervise and also conduct hands on day-to-day operations of electrical maintenance related to plant, network, power stations and downstream operational facilities as per department directives and requirements to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established standards, procedures, codes and practices and that appropriate techniques are used.
6) Supervise and participate in preventive, corrective and troubleshooting maintenance, and testing of all network electrical instrument, and electronic equipment.
7) Participate in the planning, scheduling and execution of shutdown and major maintenance activities. Monitor and ensure that the shutdown maintenance jobs are carried out within the scheduled time frame.
8) Prepare spare parts list for all electrical equipment especially critical equipment and issue the purchase/material requisitions for approval of superior to support timely availability of parts on time and in an accurate manner. Inspect and confirm the specifications are in line with the requirement of the received \xe2\x80\x98direct charge\xe2\x80\x99 and \xe2\x80\x98stock materials\xe2\x80\x99.
9) Ensure adherence of self and team with Dolphin Energy\xe2\x80\x99s Health, Safety and Environment Management System (HSE-MS) and also promote awareness of its use among all assigned personnel.
10) Update the equipment data, history and maintenance records in \xe2\x80\x98CMMS\xe2\x80\x99 and SAP system for timely availability of up to date information.
11) Perform other similar or related duties as required or assigned by management.
