Title: Sr. Designer I Instrument Diploma in Electronics & Instrumentation (or) Electrical & Electronics (or) Electronics & Communication with 12 to 15 years of experience in Onshore Oil & Gas Projects (Greenfield & Brownfield).
- Experience in preparing 2D AutoCAD layout design drawings such as instrument location drawing, cable tray & trench routing, control room equipment layout.
- Experience in preparing engineering design deliverables such as cable schedule, cable block diagram, hook-ups, wiring drawings, loop drawings, installation drawing & MTO.
- Develop/provide input on the E3D model to clarify instrument requirements on the model inclusive of cable trench, trays, junction boxes & field instrument placements.
- Experience in extracting 2D layout drawings from E3D model.
- Experience in reviewing mechanical and electrical package deliverable to identify the required engineering interfaces.
- Liase with Engineers to ensure design intents are implemented in the deliverables.
- Experience in reviewing interdisciplinary documents/drawings.
- Experience in attending 3D model review and model review action close-out.
- Assist in the preparation of the Instrument BOM.
- Incorporate instrument & system vendor data received into instrument design database, termination schedules, loop drawings, installation, and hook-up drawing.
- Experience in brownfield projects will be advantageous.
