Job Description

Primary Purpose of the Job:
Provide technical design and engineering services in Civil/Structural Engineering (Offshore) for all assigned engineering projects. Achieving the technical quality of work in accordance with QatarEnergy procedures, whilst considering quality, schedule, cost and HSE.
Required Experience and Skills:
10 years relevant post graduate experience, of which 6 years should be related to the Oil & Gas industry. Conduct Civil/Structural Engineering (Offshore) Engineering activities and inhouse site surveys for projects, from initial concept definition phase through to; engineering studies, FEED, detailed design and commissioning. Develop, update and monitor schedules for in-house engineering activities, contribute to external FEED/EPIC scheduling activities and effective project delivery. Conduct evaluation of technical bid packages for scope compliance. Review and evaluate the Contract Changes/Variation to approved guidelines and practices. Ability to identify and utilize relevant engineering standards and Codes related to Civil/ Structural Engineering (Offshore) Engineering. Proven ability to manage time, cost and quality in engineering projects within a multiple project environment. Good communications and presentations skills with fluency in English.

Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. * Chartered Engineer / Professional Engineer status or equivalent preferable.
