About the Role

Our client, a leading multinational corporation in the oil and gas sector, is seeking a

highly skilled and experienced Senior Designer - Civil & Structural (Onshore)

to support major brownfield engineering projects. This role offers the chance to work on

high-profile projects

with cutting-edge technologies and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and update

brownfield layouts

, including underground composite drawings and drainage layouts. Prepare

civil & structural drawings

for new buildings and modifications of existing structures. Create

GA and detailed drawings

of concrete buildings, steel structures, pipe supports, racks, bridges, platforms, and foundations. Deliver detailed drawings of auxiliary structures (handrails, ladders, equipment supports, pits, cable trenches). Conduct

onshore site surveys

in oil & gas plants and incorporate findings into engineering deliverables. Review and verify civil & structural drawings for

accuracy and compliance

with project standards. Prepare

structural steel connection details

, Civil & Structural MTOs, procurement and construction MTOs. Collaborate closely with

multidisciplinary engineering teams

to meet client and project requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma/Bachelor's Degree

in Civil Engineering, Structural Drafting, or related field.

Certification in AutoCAD

(or equivalent drafting software) preferred.

12+ years

of proven experience in brownfield engineering drawings (Concept, FEED, Detailed Design) - Middle East/Qatar experience highly desirable.

QatarEnergy project experience

is an advantage.

10+ years' expertise in AutoCAD (2D drawings)

. Strong knowledge of

civil & structural engineering standards and practices

. Demonstrated ability to prepare

MTOs for procurement and construction

. Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Soft Skills

Strong

attention to detail

with a focus on accuracy and quality. Ability to work both

independently and collaboratively

in a fast-paced environment. Excellent

problem-solving and analytical skills

Contract & Work Details

Contract Duration:

12 Months (extendable based on project needs and performance).

Work Schedule:

Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
