About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Business Development Manager
to lead our chemical division's growth in the
UAE/GCC market
. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in
B2B chemical sales
, market expansion, and client relationship management, with a focus on
commodity/specialty chemicals
.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute
strategic business plans
to drive revenue growth in the GCC region.
Identify and secure new business opportunities in
O&G, construction, coatings, adhesives, or water treatment sectors
.
Manage key accounts and negotiate long-term contracts.
Lead market research to identify trends, competitors, and untapped segments.
Collaborate with technical teams to customize solutions for clients.
Achieve
annual sales targets
(AED 15M+) and expand market share.
Mentor junior sales teams and align strategies with company goals.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's/Master's in
Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Business
.
Experience:
4+ years in chemical sales/business development
Industry Knowledge:
Deep understanding of
petrochemicals, polymers, or specialty chemicals
.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in
pricing strategies, and contract negotiation
.
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing abilities.
Driving License:
Required for client visits.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in
well known chemical companies
Knowledge of
REACH, ESMA, and GHS compliance
.
Existing network in
GCC chemical industries
.
