Senior Architectural Engineer
to lead complex architectural and engineering projects. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a track record in building design, technical coordination, and compliance with international standards.
Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic Senior Architectural Engineer to spearhead architectural projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, technical excellence, and regulatory requirements. The role involves leading multidisciplinary teams, managing project timelines, and delivering innovative solutions for building projects in Doha, Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of architectural projects from concept to execution.
Provide technical expertise in building design, including feasibility studies, system integration, and compliance with codes (e.g., Qatari building regulations, international standards).
Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other engineering consultants to ensure cohesive project delivery.
Review and approve architectural drawings, specifications, and BIM/CAD models.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to design intent.
Manage project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and budget oversight.
Mentor junior staff and act as a technical resource for the team.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to address design concerns and deliverables.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience:
Minimum
15 years
of proven experience in architectural engineering, with a focus on
building design projects
.
Professional Certification:
UAE Professional Diploma Assessment (UPDA) - Grade A.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in CAD/BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit), construction documentation, and project management tools.
Expertise:
Strong knowledge of building codes, sustainability standards (e.g., LEED, Estidama), and Qatari regulations.
Consulting Experience:
Demonstrated success in managing architectural projects in a consulting or multidisciplinary firm.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
