Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant cum Finance Manager to lead and oversee the financial operations of our mobile distribution company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, inventory costing, cash flow management, compliance, and strategic financial planning.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

--Accounting & Financial Management

Manage day-to-day accounting operations in compliance with IFRS/UAE regulations.

Ensure timely and accurate posting of journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.

Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions; ensure credit control and aging analysis.

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Ensure proper classification and accounting of inventory, COGS, and margins.

-- Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis

Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts.

Analyze variances between actual and budgeted results; advise management on corrective actions.

Perform product-wise and channel-wise profitability analysis.

-- Cash Flow & Treasury Management

Monitor daily cash flows and bank positions.

Forecast short-term and long-term liquidity needs.

Manage banking relationships and negotiate facilities (LCs, TRs, overdrafts).

-- Inventory & Costing

Oversee inventory valuation and reconciliation; coordinate with the warehouse and logistics team.

Ensure correct application of landed cost, freight, customs, and warranty reserves

-- Taxation & Compliance

Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax and VAT laws.

Prepare and file tax returns (VAT, CT) and liaise with tax consultants/auditors.
