Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled

Spray Painter

to perform surface preparation and spray painting on wood, metal, or composite surfaces, ensuring smooth, high-quality finishes in line with design and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with various spray painting techniques and materials and a strong eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, filling, priming, and cleaning. Mix and match paint to the required color and consistency. Apply paints, lacquers, and finishes using spray guns or HVLP systems. Ensure a smooth and even finish without runs, sags, or blemishes. Inspect finished surfaces and perform touch-ups as needed. Maintain and clean spray guns, booths, and equipment regularly. Follow health and safety standards, including proper use of PPE and ventilation. Work closely with the finishing supervisor to meet production schedules and quality expectations. Properly store and handle paints, thinners, and hazardous materials. Identify defects and report issues related to surface preparation, paint quality, or equipment.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Spray Painter in [woodworking/furniture/automotive/metal works] industry. Strong understanding of spray painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing materials. Ability to operate spray booths and related tools safely and efficiently. Good sense of color matching and finish quality. Physically fit and able to work in a workshop environment. Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of craftsmanship.

Preferred:

Experience with

PU, NC, melamine, duco, or automotive paints

, depending on industry. Knowledge of wood finishing techniques (e.g., staining, distressing, clear coats). Basic understanding of workshop safety protocols and material handling.

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,200.00 per month
