Key Responsibilities:
Prepare wooden surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and priming before painting.
Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades and finishes.
Apply paint, lacquer, or varnish using spray guns in a controlled environment.
Inspect finished work for quality, uniformity, and adherence to specifications.
Maintain spray equipment and ensure a clean, safe work area.
Collaborate with carpenters and designers to meet project timelines and quality expectations.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a wood spray painter or in a similar role.
Familiarity with different types of wood finishes and spray techniques.
Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Basic understanding of safety procedures and use of PPE.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with both solvent-based and water-based paints.
Knowledge of color theory and surface preparation techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or finish specifications.
