We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Spray Painter

to join our team. The Spray Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing and applying paints using spray equipment, and ensuring a high-quality finish on all projects. The ideal candidate must have experience with various painting techniques, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

Surface Preparation:

Clean, sand, and buff surfaces before painting. Repair damages such as cracks, dents, or rust. Mask and cover areas not to be painted. Remove rust, old paint, and other contaminants.

Paint and Color:

Select and mix paints to match required colors and finishes. Apply primer, base coats, and clear coats to achieve the desired appearance. Ensure consistent, smooth, and even paint application without drips or runs.

Application and Finishing:

Operate spray guns, airbrushes, and other painting tools efficiently. Adjust equipment settings for proper paint flow and film thickness. Follow correct drying times and perform touch-ups as needed. Inspect painted surfaces to ensure high-quality results.

Maintenance and Safety:

Clean spray guns, hoses, and paint booths after each use. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor equipment issues. Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE (respirators, gloves, safety glasses, etc.). Properly store and dispose of paints, solvents, and chemicals. Keep the workspace clean and organized.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Spray Painter or similar role. Knowledge of various paints, coatings, and spray techniques. Ability to mix and match colors accurately. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to read and follow instructions, drawings, and specifications. Physically fit and able to perform manual work.
