Lead Piping Engineer / Drafting SupervisorRole Purpose:
To manage, generate, and issue piping spool drawings using
AutoSpool software
in accordance with project specifications, isometric drawings, and fabrication requirements.Key Responsibilities
Generate
spool drawings
from piping isometrics using AutoSpool software. Review piping isometrics and extract bill of materials (BOM). Ensure accurate dimensioning, weld identification, and spool numbering. Coordinate with thepiping design team
andfabrication shop
for spool release and modifications. Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. Update and maintain drawing logs, revision histories, and issue records. Worked OnRevision management
is added advantage. Support material tracking, fabrication planning, and erection sequencing.Skills & Competencies
Proficiency in
AutoSpool software
and AutoCAD. Knowledge ofpiping codes, standards (ASME, ASTM, ANSI)
. Understanding ofisometric drawings
. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawings. Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.Qualifications
Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum
2-5 years
of experience in piping spool drawing preparation. Experience with AutoSpool or similar spool-generation software is essential.Job Type: Full-time
