We are now looking for SPI Designer to execute projects and support bids in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Reports To The SPI Designer reports to the assigned Project Manager. Job Overview The SPI Designer is responsible for handling engineering design review and analysis assignments normally involving a major project or several smaller or less complex projects. These projects by nature of their complexity and difficulty require the fully competent application of conventional knowledge in oil & gas. Responsibilities and Duties

SPI Database handling in Smart plant application environment of various plant new / revamp areas based on Implementation procedures, Specifications and Standards.
- Field verification for generating final drawings & sketches as per requirement.
- Extraction of various deliverables.
- Extraction of Reports.
- Consistency Checking.
- QA_QC checking of all deliverables extracted from Database.
- Coordination with other Smart Plant Applications designers and engineers.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Qualifications

Full Time Diploma/bachelor’s degree in Instrument/Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 08 years of experience as a SPI Designer / Modeler.
- Knowledge in Instrumentation Design and detailed Engineering related jobs.
- Working experience in Oil & Gas Industry / Refinery.
- Certification course in SPI from a reputed institute.
- Ability to independently handle preparation of loop drawings /Cable schedule, Datasheets &
Instrument layout drawings and sketches.
- Knowledge and working experience in other Smart Plant software’s like SP PID and SPF / EDMS.
- Knowledge and working experience in AutoCAD.
- Conversant with international codes and standards.
- Good Knowledge of Instrumentation standards & drawings.
UAE local experience is added value.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent in the English language
