Job Description

Job Purpose:
The Speed Boat Captain is responsible for operating and navigating the company's speed boats safely and efficiently, ensuring an exceptional experience for guests while maintaining full compliance with maritime safety standards and company operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the speed boat for charters, water sports, or guest transfers in accordance with UAE maritime laws and company policies.
• Conduct thorough pre-departure and post-trip inspections of the vessel to ensure all systems, safety equipment, and engines are in optimal condition.
• Ensure the cleanliness, presentation, and readiness of the boat at all times.
• Safely embark and disembark guests, providing clear safety briefings and instructions.
• Maintain detailed logs for fuel usage, maintenance, and daily operations.
• Communicate with the operations team for scheduling, weather updates, and any operational needs.
• Oversee refueling, basic mechanical checks, and minor troubleshooting as required.
• Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently, ensuring guest safety at all times.
• Report any damage, incidents, or maintenance issues immediately to the Marine Operations Manager.
• Represent the company professionally and courteously to all clients and partners.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid UAE Marine Captain License (suitable for speed boat operations).
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience operating speed boats or similar vessels in UAE waters.
• Strong knowledge of local maritime navigation rules, weather conditions, and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in marine environments.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
