Provide compassionate therapeutic services to children affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Completing written documentation including evaluations, progress reports.
Conducting individualized treatment sessions and, to a lesser extent, group treatment sessions with clients using a strong foundation in language, cognitive development, family-centered therapy, and the floor time model.
Performing initial evaluation, including standardized testing.
One on one treatment feeding therapy treatment sessions including understanding the follow: oral motor, sensory, and behavioral components.
Communication with parents regarding therapy carryover at home following treatment sessions.
Communication with teachers and other involved professionals as necessary to facilitate the therapy process in the home and school environments.
Ability to work with diverse populations
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize workload.
Requirements
Bachelor required and Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology preferred.
Minimum 2+ years of post-graduate Pediatric Speech Language Pathology experiences.
Carrying out standardized assessments to measure speech and language development.
Undertaking one to one therapy sessions.
Undertaking group therapy sessions.
Completing clinical documentation
Liaising and cooperating with other clinicians as part of a multidisciplinary team.
