Call My Doctor Healthcare provides 24/7 premium home-healthcare services in Dubai, offering on-call doctor visits, nursing care, physiotherapy, and speech therapy at home. The goal is to deliver convenient, high-quality care in the comfort of the patient's own location.
Role Purpose
To assess, diagnose and treat individuals with speech, language, voice and/or communication disorders in a home-visit setting, delivering individualized therapy programmes aligned with our service model of home-based care.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct speech, language, voice, fluency and communication assessments with clients in their home environment.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the client's needs, goals and home setting.
Provide face-to-face therapy sessions (in the home) using evidence-based techniques and monitor client progress.
Educate and coach family members/caregivers on strategies to support therapy and promote carry-over of skills at home.
Collaborate with other allied health professionals (e.g., physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nursing) and integrate care where applicable.
Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, session notes, progress reports and discharge summaries.
Participate in team meetings, clinical supervision, training and professional development.
Uphold the organization's standards of patient-centered care, confidentiality, safety and ethics at all times.
Travel across Dubai to client locations, ensuring punctuality, professionalism and readiness for home-visits.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology / Speech Therapy (or equivalent).
Valid licensure or eligibility with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) to practice in Dubai.
Minimum of 1-2 years (or more) experience working as a speech therapist; home-visit or paediatric experience desirable.
Excellent communication (English; Arabic or other languages an advantage) and interpersonal skills.
Ability to assess, plan and deliver treatment independently and adapt therapy in the home context.
Strong organisational and time-management skills (managing travel/visits, documentation, caseload).
Valid UAE driving licence and reliable transportation preferred (to reach client homes across Dubai).
