As part of this transformation, we are seeking competent and experienced Speech Therapists to join our new outpatient center. This is a start-up environment, ideal for candidates who are either familiar with or adaptable to building systems, culture, and practices from the ground up. The dynamics of a start-up are fast-paced and evolving, and we're looking for professionals who can thrive in this phase, embracing change, working independently, and contributing proactively.

Key Highlights:



Work Schedule: 6 days per week during school sessions, and 5 days per week during Winter, Spring, and Summer holidays Location: Dubai Start Date: Immediate joining preferred Remuneration: AED 14000- 18000(Min 2 years UAE experience) *AED 18000 -23000(Min 5 years UAE experience)

Key Overall Responsibilities:



Assists in the development, implementation and monitoring of practice guidelines and policies related to care of patients requiring rehabilitation services. Complies with standards, policies, laws and regulations outlined in the Clinic'sl policies and plans. Evaluates information to determine compliance with standards and analyzes data or information to improve or make decisions. Assists with the development of a speech/language therapy competency program and ongoing learning and education programs. Performs duties as per the job description and employee contract as per the Clinic's Code of Conduct and Human Resource Policies. Performs administrative activities, such as day-to-day maintenance of files and processing of paperwork. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in national and international professional societies. Assesses, develops, and implements Speech and Language Therapy treatment for the assigned patients. Reflects on auditory, visual and kinesthetic aspects of the client's communication and identifies appropriate strategies to facilitate and enhance communicative effectiveness. Administers hearing or speech/language evaluations, tests, or examinations to patients to collect information on the type and degree of impairments, using written and oral tests and special instruments. Develops clear care plans based on best practice, patient findings and patient needs. Provides advice to others regarding the management and care of patients/clients with communication difficulties. Ensures that patients are involved in the planning and prioritizing of their care plans wherever possible. Adapts practice to meet Individual patients' circumstances, including due regard for cultural and linguistic differences. Uses of evidence-based practice and outcome measures for clinical effectiveness. Advises on aids and adaptations needed by the patient to promote independence. Evaluates hearing and speech/language test results and medical or background information to diagnose and plan treatment for speech, language, fluency, voice and swallowing disorders

Key Quality & Safety Responsibilities



Bachelor's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology/Speech and Language Therapy/Speech Pathology/Speech therapy/Speech or Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current/Valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) License Home country license and certification to practice.

Physical Requirements



Minimum of two (2) years

UAE

of experience in Speech and Phonetics field in hospital or clinical settings. Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups and the measurement of training effects. Knowledge of the structure and content of the English and Arabic language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar. Knowledge of human behavior and performance, individual differences in ability, personality, and interests, learning and motivation. Private hospital experience preferred.
