Ability Pediatric Rehabilitation Center Abu Dhabi provides evidence-based early intervention, ABA therapy, learning-support-assistance services, speech & language, and psychology for children and young adults in the UAE with developmental difficulties of all kinds. Our treatments target functional communication, self-help, independent living skills, pre-academic readiness, and vocational productivity - thus supporting full community acceptance and inclusion.

Monitor patient's progress and adjust treatment accordingly. Evaluate hearing and speech/language test result and medical or background information to diagnose and plan treatment for speech, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorder Administer hearing or speech/language evaluations, tests, or examinations to patients to collect information on type and degree of impairments, using written and oral tests and special instruments. Record information on the initial evaluation, treatment, progress, and discharge of clients. Develop and implement treatment plans for problems such as stuttering, delayed language, swallowing disorder, and inappropriate pitch or harsh voice problems based on own assessments and recommendations of physicians, psychologist, and social workers. Teach clients to control or strengthen tongue, jaw, face muscles and breathing mechanisms. Develop speech exercise programs to reduce disabilities. Design, develop, and employ alternative diagnostic or communication devices and strategies. Refer clients to additional medical or educational services if needed

Qualifications

BSc in Speech-Language pathology/ Speech and language therapy, with DOH license

At least 2 years of experience as a Speech and Language Therapist Experience working with children Strong Communication
