For our team in Sharjah, UAE, we are looking for somebody who promotes and specifies our brands/products to specifiers (architects/consultants/developers etc). Focus will be on projects and clients in UAE and Saudi Arabia. Position : Specification Manager (Project Sales) UAE/KSA Description of Menagate (www.mena-gate.com) Founded in 2010, MENAGATE structures a market network in the Middle East & Africa region for top complementary European bathroom brands. Start Date: From 1st of Nov 2022 For our team in Sharjah, UAE, we are looking for somebody who promotes and specifies our brands/products to specifiers (architects/consultants/developers etc). Focus will be on projects and clients in UAE and Saudi Arabia. Customers: Acquire new and maintain existing project clients. Build strong relations to key account clients. Categorize clients according to potential and decision-making power. Build up customer database for project clients. Support influencers in specification process Provide all technical information and submit specification documents Coordinate with regional distributor to provide commercial offers. Ensure clients are equipped with latest marketing collateral Define needs of customers and inform management about the market specific requirements Convince clients about brand/product USP's and ensure we are specified in all projects. Train and inform local distributor and project clients regularly. Product: Willing to take brand responsibility Launch new products 1 to 1 visit Provide samples and marketing collateral Carry out trainings and seminars for distributor and project clients. Develop main sales arguments per products according to local requirements. Define the product gaps in the assortment and put requirements forward to the Management and / or Technical Department Projects : Screen the project market Volume of Project Type of Project (Hotel, Residential, etc) Number of bathrooms Price Tier Follow up regularly with involved parties and decision makers Maintain continuously a project list. Inform Management about market potential Create link between distributor and project client, when it comes to the commercial offer. Market: Benchmark competition on products, prices, marketing tools etc. Soft Skills : Excellent Communication Skills Good negotiation skills Good presentation skills Persuasive Flexibility Open minded Team Player Language: Fluent in Arabic and English, Education / degree: Degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent, Professional experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in project business, Preferable in sanitary, construction/building branch.
