Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate

Specialty Barista

to join our team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with

specialty coffee brewing methods

, including

V60, Chemex, AeroPress

, and espresso-based drinks. You will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages, maintaining consistency, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Only candidates with proven experience in specialty coffee will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve specialty coffee using manual brewing methods such as

V60, Chemex, AeroPress

, and siphon. Calibrate espresso machines and grinders to maintain flavor consistency. Maintain high standards of coffee quality, presentation, and customer service. Educate guests about different coffee origins, processing methods, and flavor profiles. Follow proper recipes and techniques for each brewing method and drink order. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the workstation and coffee bar area. Assist in inventory management of coffee beans, brewing tools, and supplies. Participate in cupping sessions, training, and continuous learning on specialty coffee trends. Handle POS systems for order taking and payments. Ensure equipment is properly cleaned and maintained daily.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum

2 years of hands-on experience

as a barista in a

specialty coffee

environment. Strong knowledge of

manual brewing techniques

(V60, Chemex, AeroPress, etc.) Understanding of coffee bean origins, roast levels, grind size, and extraction principles. Excellent customer service and communication skills. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. Basic knowledge of espresso machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

Preferred:

Participation in barista championships or coffee certifications (SCA, Barista Hustle, etc.) Experience with latte art and sensory tasting skills. Passionate about coffee education and customer engagement.
