Duties & Responsibilities: Duties and responsibilities included, but are not limited to: Engaging with suppliers and helping qualify them to company and industry standards. Coordinate between audit teams & schedule audits for both critical and non-critical. Undergone auditor training’s such as ISO 9001:2015 or similar Quality management system is preferred. Work with team to understand best manufacturing methods suitable for our equipment’s so that suppliers can follow, lower their cost & lead times. Provide weekly report against vendor schedules. Able to read manufacturing drawings, BOM. Liaise between the supplier, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain. Working with other departments to understand of support their needs; Continually working to improve departmental KPI’s; Ensuring HSE compliance for themselves and their suppliers; Adhering to all company policies. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor’s in engineering or equivalent. Excellent communication skills required, both written and verbal. Mastery of English language & Arabic is a must. Previous experience in quality, engineering or manufacturing / construction experience is required within Middle East; International experience is preferred. Prior experience in Oracle system application is preferred. Knowledge of API Q1 or similar QMS is required. Proficiency in electronic software programs such as MS Office suite. Personal and Interpersonal skills: Strong work ethic and ability to multitask under pressure is key. Interpersonal skills are needed to balance the demands of the facility with the reality of when materials can be procured/delivered. A proactive approach and the willingness to stay until the job is done is required to build the trust of the internal customers, as well as suppliers.
