Job Description

Job Specific Accountabilities To assist and to advise ADNOC Onshore's assets on the best/optimum stimulation design, technique and tools. To support and to ensure ADNOC Onshore stimulation treatments execution as per the ADNOC Onshore stimulation guidelines. To advise and to ensure all the ADNOC Onshore stimulation treatments comply with ADNOC Onshore stimulation fluid testing guidelines. To advise and assist ADNOC Onshore for the hydraulic fracturing study, design and execution. To advise and assist ADNOC onshore in the stimulation related tender scope of work and evaluation (technical section). To advise ADNOC Onshore assets on the best well completion strategy which will allow optimum stimulation treatment. To ensure the standardization of stimulation techniques and approaches across all ADNOC Onshore's assets. To assist in the supervision of the critical stimulation operation such as hydraulic fracturing and new technology implementation.

Generic Accountabilities Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives. Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.

Internal Communication & Working Relationships Build and maintain wide based, multidisciplinary network throughout ADNOC Onshore community especially related to stimulation. Regular contact with executive Team and Asset's management.

External Communication & Working Relationships Maintain good connection and relationship with the industry stimulation experts and up to date with the stimulation technologies. Occasional contact with ADNOC upstream, industry Shareholders and OPCOs to share industry best practices and information. Good contact with the contractors and service providers to maintain business relationship with key external technology providers.

Minimum Qualification Master Degree in Petroleum Engineering/Chemical Engineering or equivalent. MSc. is preferable. Excellent spoken and written English.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge Skills 15 years in technical discipline (relevant to job scope), including at least 10 years in the area of stimulation (matrix acidizing & hydraulic fracturing).

Technical Competencies Matrix acidizing stimulation design and operation (supervision). Preferably with 10 years experience in carbonate stimulation. Hydraulic fracturing (acid & proppant) design and operation (supervision). Proficient with industrial known hydraulic fracturing design software such as Stimplan, MFrac, Gohfer for hydraulic fracturing and matrix acidizing software. Proficient in matrix acidizing and hydraulic fracturing fluids selection, chemistry, and laboratory testing procedures. Proficient in formation damage identification and mitigation. Experience in carbonate reservoir extended reach well completion design for stimulation (matrix & hydraulic fracturing). Knowledge of well intervention especially for the extended reach well (ERD) and multi-lateral well is an added advantage. Experience in preparing stimulation related tender technical document and perform technical evaluation of the tender. Experience in designing and executing quality assurance/quality control and perform post-job analysis for well stimulations. Experience in evaluating and piloting new technologies related to stimulation. Preparing and delivering in house training for matrix stimulation & hydraulic fracturing to ADNOC staff as part of their competency. Participate in the ongoing training and development of assigned local staff and other new graduate staff. Includes assessing employees training and development needs.
