Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Specialist Structural Engineer. The ideal candidate will bring over 15 years of structural engineering experience in the oil and gas industry, with a strong focus on offshore facilities, including platforms, jackets, topsides, and subsea structures.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and review structural engineering deliverables for offshore oil & gas projects
Perform structural analysis and design for offshore platforms and related facilities
Review and approve technical documents, drawings, and calculations
Coordinate with other disciplines (e.g., piping, process, mechanical)
Ensure compliance with international codes and client specifications
Support project planning, design reviews, and risk assessments
Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers
Interface with clients, vendors, and third parties as required
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred)
Minimum 15 years of relevant structural engineering experience in the oil & gas industry
Proven offshore project experience (e.g., fixed platforms, FPSOs, jackets, subsea structures)
Strong knowledge of relevant codes (API, AISC, DNV, ISO, etc.)
Proficient in structural analysis software (e.g., SACS, STAAD.Pro, SESAM)
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Able to work independently in an office-based engineering environment
