Were looking for a Specialist, Statutory Reporting to join our Finance team!
Reporting to the Manager of Statutory Reporting, youll play a pivotal role in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across the Group. From preparing IFRS-compliant financial statements to strengthening internal controls aligned with Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority (ADAA) standards, your expertise will help steer strategic decisions and uphold M42s commitment to transparency and excellence.
Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
Prepare consolidated M42 Group financial statements (quarterly & annually) in full compliance with IFRS
Review asset-level financials and provide oversight across period-end close processes and general ledger accuracy
Lead preparation of accounting position papers and group consolidation instructions/reporting packs
Oversee the implementation of financial policies and procedures across the organization
Supervise Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) and annual impairment testing for goodwill and indefinite-lived assets
Coordinate closely with auditors to ensure seamless and timely audits
Present insights and reports to the Audit Committee and Board
Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR)
Monitor and assess internal controls in line with COSO and ADAA frameworks
Document, evaluate, and implement corrective actions as needed
Support in regulatory reviews, including ADAA audits and fraud risk assessments
Systems & Process Enhancement
Ensure financial systems and processes align with Group strategy and leadership needs
People & Project Leadership
Supervise and support junior staff, offering training and day-to-day guidance
Coordinate cross-functional finance projects and drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
CA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent certification
Minimum 4+ years in Big 4 statutory audit or group financial reporting
Solid knowledge of IFRS and experience in financial policy implementation
Experience with Oracle and Hyperion tools
