Qualification Required
The candidates should have Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety, or Environmental Sciences.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) aspects of offshore projects, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, international standards, and regulatory requirements while promoting a strong safety culture across all project phases.
Develop and implement project-specific HSE plans, procedures, and risk management strategies.
Conduct hazard identification (HAZID), risk assessments, and safety studies for offshore construction and operations
Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards (OSHA, ISO 45001, OHSAS, API, IMO), and company HSE policies
Supervise offshore HSE activities during construction, installation, and commissioning
Organize HSE induction, training, and competency programs for offshore personnel
Coordinate with construction, mechanical, electrical, and marine teams to ensure safe execution of activities
Develop and maintain emergency response plans for offshore operations
Lead emergency drills and evaluate effectiveness of response procedures
Prepare HSE performance reports, KPIs, and dashboards for management review
Maintain records of audits, inspections, and incident investigations
Experience Required
Minimum 15 to 18+ years of experience, with at least 5 years significant in offshore project.
Strong knowledge of offshore safety regulations, risk management, and emergency response
Certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor (preferred)
Preferred experience from PMC/EPC Mechanical Construction Background.
Previous ADNOC Offshore Experience is advantage.
