JOB PURPOSE:

Acts as technical authority on Reservoir Engineering related subjects, Reservoir Surveillance Specialist will lead the planning and execution of surveillance, well management, production chemistry and other key aspect of the deployment of Enhance Oil Recovery (EOR) / Improved Oil Recovery (IOR) projects.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Analyses, interprets and integrates broad data sets (tracers, production logs, cased hole logs, pressure tests, interference tests) for EOR pilot characterization.Performs various petroleum engineering related activities including job planning (Regular, Short term & Long term), Drilling, Well completions, Workovers (Rig & Rigless), Artificial lift, Acid stimulation and Production Management.Conducts flow assurance and well bore management for various EOR techniques. Constructs well surveillance plans, well reviews, monitoring and well performance analysis by using Nodal analysis software (Prosper/GAP). Interpret difficult pressure transient test cases and perform test designDesigns Single well and inter well chemical tracer tests to assess various EOR processes.Provides Well completion design of various injection wells, production wells and observation wells for EOR processes, (CO2, WAG, Low salinity). Provides EOR team with advice and consultation in Petroleum engineering and surveillance related studies & activities that directly impact ADNOC Onshore EOR deployment plans. Liaise with reservoir engineers and geoscientist for the selection, design and execution of CO2 / low salinity pilots. Performing stimulation technologies (acidizing, fracturing, water shutoff) based on well and reservoir diagnostics.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Minimum Qualification

Bachelor's degree Petroleum engineering and/or Reservoir engineering Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills 12 years of experience in application of petroleum engineering, tracers test implementation, flow assurance and well test designs, including 6 years' with reservoir management, reservoir simulation or EOR/IORStrong knowledge in general reservoir engineering aspects as field development, well testing, PVT, etc.Good knowledge in Reservoir Simulation software & tools.Good knowledge in Reservoir Geology Professional Certifications Advanced degree/PhD is preferred
