Full Time

The Specialist Prosthodontist is responsible for diagnosing, planning, and performing prosthodontic treatments involving dental prostheses and oral rehabilitation. This includes restoring oral function and aesthetics in patients with missing or damaged teeth using crowns, bridges, dentures, implants, and maxillofacial prosthetics.

Key Responsibilities:

Examine patients to assess dental and oral health conditions. Diagnose prosthodontic needs and create comprehensive treatment plans. Design and fit prostheses such as crowns, bridges, full and partial dentures, and implant-supported restorations. Manage complex restorative and rehabilitation cases, including full-mouth reconstruction. Collaborate with oral surgeons, periodontists, and other specialists in interdisciplinary cases. Provide patients with post-treatment care, education, and follow-up. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in the EMR system. Adhere to infection control, sterilization, and health & safety protocols in compliance with UAE Ministry of Health standards. Participate in continuing education, case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:

DDS/DMD with postgraduate qualification (Master's or Board Certification) in Prosthodontics. Valid UAE MOH/DHA/DOH Specialist Prosthodontist License. Minimum of 3-5 years of post-specialization clinical experience. Expertise in dental implant restorations and digital dentistry is an advantage. Strong diagnostic and treatment planning skills. Excellent communication and patient management abilities. Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic is an asset.
