Specialist Pediatrician
Job Title: Specialist Pediatrician
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Reports to: Medical Director / Head of Pediatrics
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled, compassionate, and dedicated Specialist Pediatrician with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience practicing in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents. You will diagnose, treat, and help prevent diseases and injuries in young patients, while offering guidance and support to their families. A valid MOH (Ministry of Health) license is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Care:
• Conduct thorough medical examinations of newborns, children, and teenagers.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of childhood illnesses, from common colds and infections to chronic conditions.
• Administer vaccinations and monitor growth and developmental milestones.
• Provide prenatal consultations for expectant parents.
• Manage pediatric emergencies and stabilize patients as needed.
• Prescribe or administer medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care.
• Preventive Health & Counseling:
• Offer evidence-based advice on nutrition, fitness, and hygiene.
• Counsel parents and guardians on their child's developmental, behavioral, and social challenges.
• Promote preventive health measures and routine check-ups.
• Documentation & Compliance:
• Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date medical records for all patients in the clinic's electronic health system.
• Ensure full compliance with MOH regulations, clinic policies, and medical ethics.
• Prepare and submit required reports to the MOH and other health authorities as needed.
• Collaboration & Referral:
• Collaborate closely with nurses, medical assistants, and other pediatric specialists.
• Refer patients to pediatric subspecialists (e.g., pediatric cardiologists, neurologists) when necessary and coordinate care.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a recognized residency program in Pediatrics.
• Valid and transferable MOH (Ministry of Health) license in the UAE.
• A minimum of 3-4 years of post-residency experience working as a Specialist Pediatrician in Sharjah.
• Proven ability to build rapport with children and communicate effectively with concerned parents.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
