To undertake planned activities in paediatric radiology and pediatric neuroimaging
To develop existing service to reflect and support the needs of the local population and the development plans of the hospital
To support emergency imaging in both pediatric general and pediatric neuroradiology
To lead/take part in multi-disciplinary team meetings
To contribute to the training of the residents and junior medical professionals
To supervise and train radiographers, sonographers, and non-medical staff in their present roles
To support and participate in audit, research, teaching and administration
To take part in the on-call rota to support round the clock coverage of imaging service
Subspecialist interest in Pediatric neuroradiology will be given priority but the candidate needs to cover general pediatric radiology as well

Experience of teaching and training
Experience of working within an MDT and in complex clinical set up.
Evidence of continuing personal & professional development & keeps up to date with medical advances
Comprehensive knowledge of paediatric radiology and specific expertise and interest in paediatric neuroradiology
Minimum five years of experience in the field of pediatric radiology, post fellowship in a well-established and accredited set up.
Ability to specifically cover both pediatric general and pediatric neuroradiology cover through emergency and On-calls.
Clinical Experience
Essential: At least 6 years’ post qualification and training within a multidisciplinary setting such as Hospital; and/or Specialized Medical Center in Pediatric
Demonstrate provision of inpatient or consultative services, reflective of the scope of privileges requested, to an acceptable volume of pediatric patients during the past 12 months or demonstrate successful completion of an accredited residency or clinical fellowship within the past 12 months.
