Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

  • Plays a critical role in the development of the ongoing strategic direction of the Marine Operation Team.
  • Direct and coordinate requirements related to project, production and drilling operation and other stakeholders
  • Create, review and update Logistics Operational Readiness Plan (LORP) related to Marine and support LD Risk Register.
  • Carry out studies and data analysis as required for marine operation.
  • Develop and support LD interface processes, procedures and systems to manage Marine Ops services and activities for marine Ops team teams.
  • Provide industry best practices support marine ops activities.
  • Prepare business cases, presentation and SOW.
  • Maintains on/ off hire records related to marine ops vessels
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Job Specific Accountabilities
  • Provide continuous logistics and technical support to LD Marine clients and developing a functional and physical interface architectures whereby LD Marine can facilitate required support and tasks deliverables.
  • Support logistics Marine manager/ Team Leader in the preparation of budget in coordination with financial controllers of ADNOC Offshore including development of budget presentation for VPL.
  • Stimulate continuous improvement and industry best practices in the development and preparation of LD processes, procedures and interfaces in order to effectively manage the Logistics Marine services and activities.
  • Focal point for all LD Marine project including IT system, consultancy services. Responsible for establishing required processes to support effective implementation of business requirements and department objectives. Develop SOR and coordinate the roll-out and implementation of such project.
  • Develop and prepare technical reports and statistical analysis for presentations, studies and business cases.
  • Identify critical issues and areas of concern and relevant mitigations to ensure timely achievement of set goals and targets for LD Marine.
  • Provide business supports to all LD key stakeholders on marine as required.
  • Develop, implement and coordinate all LD Marine interface management plans and provide expertise in the management of requirement between LD and other Divisions team in order to meet set targets / KPI's.
  • Develop and prepare MOC (Management of Change) relating to Logistics, Marine activities in order to support Project, Production and drilling operations.
  • Develop, manage and coordinate clients forecasting requirements with relevant LD marine teams.
  • LD Business Continuity Plan (BCP) focal point.
  • Prepare, train and develop U.A.E Nationals. Participate in the initiation and follow up of U.A.E. Nationals Training Program.
  • Follow up rig/Barge move performance report against set KPI's
  • Support any relevant request by line manager

  • Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
  • Train and develop assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.
Budgets
  • Provide input for preparation of the Department/ Section budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives.
  • Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
  • Develop and implement approved Department / Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Department / Section's work programs in line with Company and International standards.
  • Comply with all applicable legislation and legal regulations.
Performance Management
  • Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Department / Section in line with the Company Performance framework.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
  • Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
  • Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
  • Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices
  • Ensure compliance as per HSEMS, coordinate with corporate HSE in closure of HSE related corrective actions in LD.
Minimum Qualification
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, science, commercial or Business Administration studies.
  • Master degree will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in English language (both oral and written).
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
  • 6 years of experience preferable Logistics field.
Professional Certifications
  • Degree in engineering, science or commercial / Business Administration studies.
  • 6 years' experience.
