Job Title: Specialist in Internal Medicine / Family Medicine
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Reports to: Medical Director
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Specialist in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Sharjah. This physician will serve as a primary care provider, offering comprehensive and continuous medical care to patients of all ages. The role focuses on diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of adult and family health issues, with an emphasis on long-term patient relationships and preventive care. A valid MOH license is essential.
Key Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive Patient Care:
• Provide first-contact care for undiagnosed health concerns and ongoing care for chronic conditions.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries.
• Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and heart disease.
• Perform routine health check-ups, health risk assessments, and screenings.
• Preventive Medicine & Health Promotion:
• Develop personalized wellness and preventive care plans for patients.
• Administer immunizations and provide counseling on lifestyle, diet, and exercise.
• Offer age-appropriate health education and guidance.
• Coordination & Referral:
• Act as the central point of coordination for a patient's healthcare.
• Refer patients to specialist physicians when advanced care is required and manage follow-up care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient management.
• Documentation & Compliance:
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive electronic medical records.
• Ensure all practices are in full compliance with MOH regulations and clinic policies.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a recognized residency program in either Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Valid and transferable MOH (Ministry of Health) license in the UAE.
• A minimum of 3-4 years of post-residency experience working in a primary care setting in Sharjah.
• Ability to manage a diverse patient population, from young adults to the elderly.
• Strong diagnostic skills and a holistic approach to patient care.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic, Urdu, or Hindi is highly beneficial.
