Job Description
We are urgently looking for Specialist Fabrication Mechanical for one of our PMC projects in UAE.
Qualification Required
- The candidates should have an Engineering Degree.
- Oversee the fabrication of mechanical systems such as piping, structural steel, pressure vessels, skids, and modules.
- Review fabrication drawings, isometrics, and welding maps to ensure alignment with project specifications.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and construction teams to ensure readiness of materials and documentation.
- Ensure all fabrication activities comply with international codes (ASME, API, AWS) and client specifications.
- Monitor welding procedures, NDT (non-destructive testing), and inspection protocols.
- Confirm material traceability, MTCs (Material Test Certificates), and dimensional checks.
- Review and approve fabrication dossiers, welding logs, inspection reports, and final documentation packages
- Enforce safety protocols during fabrication activities, especially in high-risk offshore environments.
- Support mechanical completion and handover to commissioning teams
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 15-20 years in oil & gas fabrication, with 5+ years in offshore projects
- Strong knowledge of ASME, API, AWS, ISO, NORSOK
- AutoCAD, Navisworks, SmartPlant, MS Project
- Previous experience in the ADNOC projects in the similar role would be an added advantage.
