We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist/ Consultant Spine Surgeon. As a Specialist/ Consultant Spine Surgeon, you will play a critical role in providing advanced and specialized care to patients with spinal disorders. With a strong focus on patient-centered care and utilizing the latest technologies and techniques, our client is committed to delivering exceptional outcomes and improving the quality of life for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform surgical procedures on patients with spinal disorders, including foraminotomy, laminectomy, and spinal fusion
- Conduct thorough consultations and examinations of patients to determine the best course of treatment
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to provide comprehensive and multidisciplinary care for patients
- Monitor and treat post-surgical patients, including managing pain, infections, and other complications
- Keep detailed and accurate records of patient care and surgical procedures
- Stay current with the latest advances and techniques in spine surgery through attending conferences, workshops, and seminars
- Maintain strong communication with patients and their families, providing education and support on their condition and treatment plan
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and develop treatment plans
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Mentor and supervise junior surgeons and medical students in the specialty of spine surgery
- Collaborate with hospital administration to improve processes and enhance patient care
Requirements:
- Valid medical degree and specialized training in spine surgery
- Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery or Neurosurgery with a specialization in spine surgery
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Specialist/ Consultant Spine Surgeon
- Proficient in performing a wide range of spine surgeries and utilizing the latest techniques and technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients and collaborating with other medical professionals
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying current with advancements in the field
- Ability to mentor and supervise junior surgeons and medical students
- Flexibility to work on-call and handle emergency surgical cases
