ABOUT THE JOB:

Generate detailed 2D/ 3D design drawings and sketches for complex equipment, such as heavy machinery, cranes, lifting / handling equipment and offshore structures

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Develop detailed structural, outfitting and piping drawings for offshore construction, lifting operations and installation projects.

Establish liaison with project stakeholders in order to understand the nature of the project activities and to calculate requirements and develop specifications as needed.

Create manual and computer-based modelling, schematic and blueprint software to create 2D & 3D drawings for project planning and execution as required.

Generate material and equipment requirements based on the proposed design and drawings.

Maintain database of standard operating blueprints and catalogue of available equipment and services.

Support the project teams in the identification of synergy opportunities across multiple projects to minimize large construction, equipment usage, and installations running costs.

Incorporate changes or modifications to technical drawings and blueprints according to the suggestions the project engineers.

Prepare technical specification packages based technical requirements / designs as needed.

Support in the identification of project activities and tasks to comply to standards as required and attend technical meetings or surveys based as needed.

MINIMUN QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor of Science in engineering or architecture.

Degree from a technical college also acceptable.

Experience in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD).

At least 6 years of relevant experience in Offshore Projects related to the Oil & Gas industry.

In-depth knowledge in relevant Oil & Gas offshore projects in addition to relevant regulations with sound knowledge in Oil & Gas production operations.

Proficient in English.
