Job Description

• Should have a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in IT or Data Science
• For UAE nationals, preferably with 3 to 6 years of work experience.
• For Non-UAE nationals, preferably 5 to 8 years of work experience.
• IT and business intelligence-related experience in Abu Dhabi Government entity.
• Experience in business intelligence platforms.

• Develop and implement business intelligence frameworks and systems to support informed decision-making within the Data Sector and among the company's senior management.
• Set and achieve personal objectives, aligned to strategic KPIs.

• Prepare business requirements specifications for the provision of business intelligence products to Data Sector users and company's senior management.
• Define frequencies, information types, indicators and views required by business intelligence users.
• Develop user interfaces and dashboard visualisations.
• Design reports and displays to provide the information required by business intelligence users.
• Define data sources, data types and data feeds required for business intelligence reports.
• Design visualisations and commentary for reports.
• Define platform / system requirements and prepare technical specifications for business intelligence technologies.
• Prepare business intelligence report templates.
• Define rules for platforms, including user and creator access control and other security protocols.
• Run reports at defined frequencies.
• Troubleshoot errors and defects in reports; solve technical problems associated with platforms and outputs.
• Monitor output quality against user requirements; revise report templates and make adjustments to platforms / systems to ensure consistency in outputs.

• Prepare and maintain Data Sector KPI lists and metrics.
• Prepare and upload KPI reports for presentation in business intelligence platforms.

• Carry out work tasks, as instructed.
• Comply with company policies and procedures, Example but not limited to HSE policy & procedures.
• Maintain own knowledge and develop expertise in business intelligence and related domains.
• Provide support for others in their development in the business intelligence field and in the execution of their responsibilities, with reference to business intelligence.
