Job Title: Spare Parts Purchase Executive
Work location: Umm Al Quwain - on-site Salary: will be decided after the interview based on the candidate\'s experience, knowledge, and performance during the interview

  • Read catalogs, microfiche viewers, or computer displays in order to determine replacement part stock numbers and prices.
  • Implement & follow up the foreign requisitions for spare parts & machinery supplies within the approved budgets that ensure on-time delivery with the minimum costs for all items within the purchasing cycle.
  • Negotiate with suppliers, if needed, to get the most appropriate prices & conditions.
  • Monitor the contract preparation and order placement in the right time according purchasing cycle.
  • Handle and settle any claims for any unaccepted items.
  • Enhance manpower capabilities and increase their skills.
  • Synchronize and coordinate works & activities with all other Sections / Departments.
  • Check all tenders and purchase order documents\' specifications for spare parts, materials, equipment, technical services, and consultancy agreements.
  • Repair parts or equipment.
  • E\xe2\x80\xa2Examine returned parts for defects, and exchange defective parts or refund money.
  • Determine replacement parts required, according to inspections of old parts, customer requests, or customers\' descriptions of malfunctions.
  • Monitoring of minimum stock level and total Inventory.
About you
  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Solid work with at least 15 years of experience in Planning, Procurement, and inventory management of spare parts with a leading Contracting Company.
  • Good exposure to spare management for the services industry.
  • Experienced in setting up a Functional Procurement Team/Department, and establishing workflows, and operating procedures.
  • Excellent English language skills.
