Six Senses The Palm Dubai is seeking a Spa Trainer & Head Therapist to lead therapist performance, elevate treatment standards, and deliver a consistently exceptional wellness experience. Key Responsibilities
Evaluate therapist performance and recommend operational improvements
Lead, motivate, and mentor spa therapists to deliver consistent, exceptional treatments
Provide full departmental orientation for new spa team members
Guide daily spa operations, ensuring opening and closing procedures follow brand standards
Set up treatment rooms and spa facilities according to Six Senses Spa protocols
Prepare and submit training reports to the spa management and home office
Conduct monthly training sessions and follow the individual development plans for each therapist
Assess therapist treatment skills with the Assistant Spa Manager and Spa Manager
Stay updated on massage and beauty therapy techniques, wellness trends, and spa innovations
Ensure strict compliance with safety, security, and emergency procedures
Safeguard guest privacy and handle personal data with confidentiality
Upsell spa services, wellness programs, and property activities
Participate in meetings and required training sessions
Maintain rigorous adherence to LQA standards
Ideal Profile
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a luxury spa or wellness environment
Recognized certifications in anatomy, physiology, massage therapy, and beauty therapy (NVQ, ITEC, CIDESCO, or equivalent)
Strong training, leadership, and communication abilities
Hands-on competency across massage, beauty, and holistic therapies
Up-to-date knowledge of global spa and wellness trends
Organized, guest-focused, and committed to delivering high-end service
