Summary
Duties and responsibilities related to the Spa Manager role:
Develop and implement the overall spa strategy, including its service menu, pricing, and wellness concepts, to align with the hotel's luxury positioning.
Prepare and manage the annual spa
budget
, closely monitoring revenues, labor costs, and operational expenses to maximizeprofitability
. Lead, recruit, train, and manage the performance of the entire spa team, including therapists, receptionists, and attendants, to ensure exceptional service. Drive spa revenue by developing and executing marketing promotions, managing guest memberships, and motivating the team to achieveretail sales targets
. Oversee all daily operations, ensuring the spa's ambiance, cleanliness, and service standards are impeccably maintained at all times. Manage guest relations, personally handling any escalated feedback or complaints to ensure guest satisfaction and loyalty. Control all spa inventory, from professional treatment products to retail items, managing stock levels, placing orders, and conducting regular audits. Ensure the spa is in full compliance with all local health, safety, and licensing regulations. Stay current withindustry trends
, introducing new treatments, wellness technologies, and products to keep the spa competitive.Qualifications
Ideally with a University Degree or Diploma in Spa Management and/or Hospitality/Tourism Management. Minimum 2 years work experience as Assistant Spa Manager. * Aesthetic qualification in treatments and training will be of great advantage
