Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is a luxurious beachside resort located on the west crescent of the iconic Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. The interior of the resort is inspired by the ancient palaces of Turkey and features hand-painted finishings, Turkish artworks and stunning murals inspired by the Golden Age of the Ottoman Empire. The resort offers 405 rooms and suites, 38 Royal Residences and the award-winning Talise Ottoman Spa, one of the largest and most luxurious spas in the Middle East. About the Job

An opportunity has arisen for a Spa Attendant to join Spa department in Jumeirah Zabeel Saray. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

To check and set up the daily operations of the male/female spa areas according to Talise standards.

To replenish all necessary items in male/female spa promptly.

To greet the guest upon entering the male/female spa.

To maintain the water in the male/female spa areas.

To provide service promptly, courteously and accurately.

To request, collect stock and supplies in accordance with minimum stock levels.

To evaluate the operations and procedures, and suggest improvements to the Assistant Spa Manager/Head Attendant.

To ensure the cleanliness of the spa and its surrounding areas.

To ensure all equipment is well maintained and in safe condition.

To be the first point of guest complaints - reporting them in a timely manner, and record all guest comments.

To immediately report breakages, damage & losses to the Team Leaders.

To assist the Therapists/Practitioners to prepare for treatments or baths when needed.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications, experience, skills and competencies:

High school graduate

Hospitality industry service

Customer service

Experience in cleaning duties at least 6 months

Good Verbal English knowledge and understanding

Understanding of Spa treatments

Ability to lead by example

Flexible working hours

Team player, can-do attitude

Ability to think proactively

Win win attitude

First aid qualification

Health and safety qualification and experience

Worked within a hospitality environment

Maintain working knowledge of Property management system, Telephone and paging/intercom system, Steam room and sauna controls and Laundry equipment

Ability to manage various tasks/projects
