Spa & Recreation Manager - Luxury Five-Star Hotel, Bahrain Our client manages a prestigious luxury five-star hotel in Bahrain and is currently seeking an experienced Spa & Recreation Manager to oversee their extensive spa and recreation facilities. The sophisticated spa spans three floors, featuring hammams, hydro and relaxation pools, ice baths, a hair and beauty salon, and over 10 treatment rooms offering facial and body treatments, along with ancient Arabic healing therapies. Additionally, the hotel boasts an unparalleled selection of health and recreation facilities, including state-of-the-art gymnasiums, exercise classes, a lagoon-style outdoor swimming pool, children\'s swimming area, and squash courts. Requirements:
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Administration or a relevant field
- Internationally recognised qualifications in health, wellness, or beauty industries
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a senior Spa/Wellness/Recreation role, preferably in the Middle East
- Proven track record in leading successful Spa and Recreation operations
- Excellent Spa sales and marketing knowledge, coupled with extensive promotional skills
- Ability to manage large, multicultural teams with sensitivity and efficiency
- Excellent communication skills with a high standard of both written and oral English; working knowledge of Arabic is advantageous
- Solid negotiation and commercial skills
- Experience with Spa and Health Club membership schemes, implementing strategies to retain and increase membership
- Strong business acumen, accustomed to compiling and managing budgets
- Creative and knowledgeable in current global Spa/Wellness trends, capable of identifying and developing new revenue streams and implementing new strategies
- Experience in developing, delivering, and regularly reviewing service menus according to market requirements and expectations
- Great attention to detail and the ability to establish, maintain, and enhance guest experiences in all aspects of the Spa and Recreation departments
