Job summary
MISSION:
SP3D Piping Designer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing piping systems using SP3D software. The job includes assessing plant processes, identifying and evaluating system risks, determining the best piping configurations, and creating drawings and specifications.
WORK ACTIVITIES:
- Designing and creating 3D models and drafting activities of piping, supports, equipment and extraction of isometrics / 2D drawings;
- Performing calculations related to piping design;
- Prepare piping layouts and conceptual design drawings;
- Reviews drawings and vendor equipment documentation for compliance with project requirements;
- Interaction with stress analysis team for optimization of routing with sufficient flexibility and support feasibility for an optimized routing;
- Interface with other engineering disciplines;
- Conducts reviews of models using the 3D Review platform;
- Develop preliminary Bills of Materials concerning piping design;
- Preparation of Piping Material Class data sheet;
- Coding of piping components in SP3D Catalogue;
- Reviewing and marking-up Process & Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field;
- Knowledge of SP3D software is a must;
- 10+ years of experience in Offshore EPC Oil & Gas projects;
- Previous experience with Saudi Aramco standards is required.
- Job Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE;
- Contract Duration: 6 months;
- Working schedule: 9 hours x 5 days;
- Starting date: January 2024.
