Job Description

This is a senior software role and is responsible for assisting the sales teams to drive DCIM software revenue by participating in defining the technical architectural requirements, preparing and delivering solution-based product demonstrations and executing ROI Assessments. The role will also involve working with existing customers and partners to ensure they are successful by engaging in customer retention activities and partner development programs. Participating in other tasks as directed by management.

The Principal solutions consultant will be familiar with Schneider Electric solutions and is responsible for handling any technical question or issue that arises during a sales campaign and setting appropriate customer expectations. A Solution Selling approach will be employed to maximize effectiveness. As a key member of the sales team, you will coordinate timely, accurate and quality information with regards to Software Solutions and services, as required to meet selling goals. . Provide technical responses to RFP/RFI's and be a technical resource for Sales. . Present/Demonstrate any product in alignment with customer requirements and solution targets. . Plan, manage and successfully deliver Proof of Concept engagements demonstrating solution effectiveness and projects plans . Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Technical Support, Professional Services, Product Management, Product Marketing, Training, and Sales Enablement teams. . Continuously update technical knowledge and learn new product and service offerings . Continuously maintain awareness of competitor offerings, strengths and weaknesses . Produce White Papers, business cases, technical documents as needed to drive business. . Log, track and drive resolution of product effectiveness issues (internal and customer) . Support events, shows, and training engagements as needed to promote DCIM products. . Assist the PS organizations with product delivery based on technical subject matter expertise. . Drive innovation to enable the SE community to sell most effectively.

Masters/BS degree in Engineering, Business or Computer Science Experience
