We\'re working on an exceptional opportunity for an experienced soybean trader and/or a team willing to move as a unit. This role will join a business with significant purchasing contracts already in place, looking for a team of traders who can market a supply of soybean into India, SEA, and APAC regions.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize your extensive knowledge of the soybean market to execute and optimize physical soybean trades.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, buyers, and key stakeholders within the soybean trading industry.
• Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of physical trades, from contract inception to delivery.
• Stay updated on market trends, crop conditions, and global supply and demand factors that impact soybean prices and trading opportunities.
• Analyze market data and assess risk to make informed trading decisions and capitalize on profitable opportunities.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new trading prospects and stay ahead in the soybean trading landscape.
• Negotiate contracts and terms to secure advantageous trading positions, ensuring favorable outcomes for the company.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive trading records and reports to monitor performance and support strategic decision-making.
• Market a reliable physical soybean supply into India, Indian Subcontinent, South East Asia, and Asia Pacific.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Physical Soybean Trader, demonstrating a successful track record in soybean trading.
• Strong understanding of the soybean market, including supply chain dynamics, pricing, and risk management.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to foster relationships with suppliers and buyers.
• Existing book of commercial contacts throughout India, Indian Subcontinent, South East Asia, and Asia Pacific.
• Solid knowledge of logistics and operations involved in physical soybean trading.
• Analytical mindset, capable of interpreting market data and making data-driven trading decisions.
• Flexibility to be based in either Dubai or India.
• Bachelor\'s degree in finance, economics, agriculture, or a related field is preferred.
• Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in other languages, such as Hindi, would be advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and entrepenurial trading environment - this will be a greenfield build of a desk.
