We are looking for a motivated and hands-on

Sous Chef

with prior experience in resort kitchens or 4-5 star hotels. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in buffet service or multi-cuisine outlets.

Key Responsibilities:



Support the Executive Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations Supervise and coordinate food preparation, cooking, and presentation Ensure consistency and quality of dishes, particularly in buffet and live cooking stations Maintain kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and adherence to food safety standards Assist in inventory control, food cost management, and staff scheduling Train and guide junior kitchen staff and foster a positive kitchen environment Assist in menu planning and development as required Collaborate with service teams to ensure smooth buffet flow and guest satisfaction

Requirements:



Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role in 4 or 5-star hotel/resort kitchens Experience with buffet operations, international cuisines, or large-scale dining preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Solid understanding of food hygiene, HACCP, and kitchen best practices Team-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure Willingness to relocate and work full-time in the Maldives
