We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensure high food quality standards, and maintain a clean, efficient, and well-organized kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations
Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation
Supervise and train kitchen staff
Monitor food preparation and portion control
Maintain hygiene, food safety, and HACCP standards
Manage inventory, stock rotation, and minimize waste
Step in for the Head Chef when required
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Leadership and team management skills
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
Experience in restaurant or cafe operations preferred
