Job Description

:

Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes, portion control, and presentation standards. Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality, maintaining consistency and taste. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation while following food safety and hygiene regulations. Assist in the daily kitchen operations, including preparation, cooking, and plating. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and inform the supervisor or head chef when replenishment is needed. Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service, especially during peak hours. Follow instructions from senior chefs and assist in training junior staff when necessary. Uphold company standards in terms of portion sizes, food quality, and presentation. Assist with inventory checks, receiving deliveries, and proper storage of ingredients. Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation policies and procedures. Stay calm and efficient in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Contribute to menu development and suggest improvements where applicable. Maintain professional appearance and behaviour, following the company's uniform and grooming policies.

Requirements:

Proven min 3 years of experience in a similar role within the UAE or in a reputable restaurant/hospitality group. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to remain calm and work efficiently under pressure. Passion for culinary arts and continuous improvement. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required. Strong knowledge of international cuisine and cooking techniques. Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency in food preparation Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene standards. Food safety and hygiene certification is an advantage.
