Assist Head Chef with creation and preparation of cuisine
Assist to manage the Central Kitchen and Outlet Kitchens to ensure smooth operation
Assist with staff scheduling in the absence of Head Chef
To reinforce housekeeping, ensure food handling, hygiene standards and regulations are followed in outlets
Ensure that quality, quantity, and correctness of food items served and displayed are as per company's and Chef's standard recipes
Check that quantity and quality of items ordered are received and stored in proper condition
Work closely and cooperates with other chefs, superiors, colleagues and subordinates in order to achieve highest possible satisfaction of food items
Requirements
Minimally 5 years relevant experience in western culinary
Experienced in a luxury hotel or restaurant will be an advantage
Possess positive learning and management skills
Creative and self-motivated
The ability to work effectively in a team environment
Must present a positive and professional attitude at all times
