Responsibilities: 1- Contributes to menu creation. 2- Managing and training of the kitchen brigade to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while managing food cost controls. 3- Responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: 4- Always ensure consistency in quality of dishes. 5- Manage customer/staff relations, when necessary, in the absence of the Head Chef; 6- Ensure resources meet business needs 7- Support brand standards through the training and assessment of your team; 8- Manage food cost controls to contribute to Food and Beverage revenue. 9- Knowledge of activities in other departments and implications. 10- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety standards. QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of 3 years of previous experience as a Sous chef or strong experience in a vegan or similar caf\xc3\xa9/restaurant. Strong coaching skills. Ability and desire to motivate teams. Excellent communication skills. Achieved Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. Supervisory experience. Ability to work on own or in teams. It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions: Relevant qualify A passion for vegan food and the culinary arts.
